Electrical Technology Program – Powering Homes, Businesses, and the Future
Electricity powers every part of our daily lives—from the lights in our homes to the charging stations for tomorrow’s cars. In the Electrical Technology Program, students start with the basics of residential wiring, learning how to safely install outlets, switches, lighting, and panels. From there, they move into commercial wiring projects, where larger systems, conduit work, and advanced troubleshooting come into play.
This program also looks ahead to the future of energy. Students gain exposure to green technologies like solar panel systems, wind power integration, and electric vehicle charging stations. You’ll explore how renewable energy is reshaping the trade and prepare to be part of a workforce leading the way in sustainability.
Beyond hands-on training, this program lays the foundation for pursuing state licenses and advanced certifications in the electrical trade. Whether you want to become a licensed journeyman or master electrician, or specialize in renewable energy systems, the skills you build here are the first step toward a powerful career.
