WCTC Students Earn Medals at Maine SkillsUSA State Competition
BANGOR — Students from Waldo County Technical Center (WCTC) recently competed in the Maine SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference held March 12–13 in Bangor. A total of 29 WCTC students attended the statewide competition, representing several career and technical education programs. We took 29 students to the State competition on Thursday/Friday. These are the Maine SkillsUSA medalists from WCTC: Wyatt Rhodes (SDHS), Shelby Traves (BAHS) and Mason Dimond (SDHS) all from Explore CTE won a bronze medal for Chapter Display Brody Ingraham (MVHS) - from ESP won a silver medal for Job Skills Demo O Bella Burlingham (BAHS) - from Explore CTE won a Gold Medal for Facilithon.
