Mathematics ProgramFlexible, Focused, and Built for Your Success

Math is a skill you’ll use everywhere—whether you’re measuring materials in construction, calculating medication dosages in healthcare, or solving real-world problems in business and technology.

The Mathematics Program at WCTC can be taken in conjuction with another Tech program here. It's designed to ensure every student has access to the math courses they need, at the level that fits them best.

This program supports students who:

  • Need a required math course that doesn’t fit into their schedule at their home school

  • Want extra support in a small-group setting

  • Are looking for a math pathway tailored to their interests, career goals, or technical program

With options ranging from Practical Math to Algebra, Geometry, and Advanced Math, students can build confidence, meet graduation requirements, and strengthen problem-solving skills that connect directly to their technical program.

Classes meet 2–3 times a week for 30–45 minutes in a small group setting (1–6 students), ensuring individualized attention. Students are expected to be engaged, self-directed learners, with effort and attendance playing a key role in success.
