Letter to Community

Dear Waldo County Community, 

It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of a beloved member of the Waldo County Technical Center family. Mark Scipione, our Diesel and Small Engines instructor and dear friend, has passed away. Since joining WCTC in 2005, Mark touched hundreds of young lives through his deep knowledge, practical experience, passion, and caring heart. Many of his former students are now valued leaders and members of the trade community in Waldo County and beyond. He was an incredibly valued member of our school, and his impact will be felt for years to come. As we navigate this loss, we are still gathering information. Details regarding service arrangements will be shared over the coming days. Please monitor WCTC’s website and Facebook page for further updates.
