Would you like to maximize your creative potential by learning skills that will help you express your talent? This class will explore such areas of graphics as design, desktop publishing, communication and web page design. You will learn and practice basic and advanced graphic arts skills and concepts in a modern, well-equipped digital graphic arts lab while honing employability traits such as interpersonal skills, reliability and diligence. The primary design layout program will be either QuarkXpress or InDesign. Students will also use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat as an extension of the layout program.
