Networking Technology ::
Instructor
Jon Morrison has been the Computer & Networking Technology instructor at WCTC since April, 2004. He
is a graduate of Kennebec Valley Community College with an AAS in Applied Electronics & Computer Technology. He
is currently enrolled in the BS ATE program at the University of Southern Maine. His experience includes teaching
college and adult education courses, electronics technician, webmaster, software technical support,
database administrator, and a technology supervisor position.
Certifications include the CompTIA A+ and Network+, and a Journeyman ISCET
certificate. He enjoys teaching technology subjects, amateur radio, playing bass guitar, and hiking.
Jon at the Boston Museum of Science where a plaque honors the achievements of Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the
World Wide Web. Topics involving the Internet and the web are prominent in the Computer & Networking
Technology courses.
