The state approved a $1,000,000 loan to the school from the Revolving Fund. This represents the remainder of the original estimate made in 2002 to complete the 2 additions, and renovate the remaining space on the south side of the building.  This loan must now be approved by the taxpayers.

Now a new dilemma, construction costs have risen significantly, and this sum in not sufficient.  After reviewing the various options, like construct the shell for one of the additions only, or reduce the renovation area. The cooperative board decided to ask the taxpayers to approve a second bond to go with this loan, and do the project the right way.  Again, estimates were sought and the additional amount needed was $500,000.  The process was now under way to prepare for the vote in November.
