About Us
Location
Waldo County Technical Center is located in Waldo, Maine. We serve a
student population of approximately 350 high school students from three
participating school districts in the surrounding area.
Programs
We are proud to offer a range of programs that provide opportunities for
students to learn industry related skills, develop workplace and employability
skills, build friendships, and develop an appreciation for lifelong learning.
Accreditation
Our school is accredited by the NEAS&C, an organization that provides peer
review of school facilities, staff, and programs. These reviews help us to
ensure that a high quality learning environment is maintained for our students.
Community
The school encourages community involvement by providing a club chapter of
SkillsUSA, the national work skills development club for secondary and
post-secondary students. SkillsUSA offers chances for students to
participate in public service activities in the surrounding region.
Individual programs may also provide opportunities for community participation,
based on the skills that are taught in the programs.

We also have an FFA
club chapter that students in the Natural Resources & Horticulture courses can
join. Students participate in a variety of club activities
